What makes New Balance 928 So Popular?
First of all, the 928 series by New Balance is broad, allowing you to find a comfortable shoe, without having to compromise on style. Walking shoes which offer increased support, tend to sacrifice looks, but that is not the case with New Balance. They seem to have the balance between support and style, absolutely spot on.
Available for both Men and Women, the 928 comes in several different materials, all with similar styles. The most popular seems to be the leather version, but if you prefer materials such as suede, then you have that choice. The only disadvantage: This particular shoe is only available in two colors: White and Black. If you like your shoes a little more eccentric, then unfortunately, these are not for you.
Support & Comfort
Now let’s get into the main selling point of the New Balance 928, which is the support and comfort which they provide. If you were to search the internet for New Balance 928 reviews, it would be easy to find a few negative reviews, but finding reviews which bash the comfort and support of these walking shoes, would be next to impossible!
The New Balance team have left nothing out of it’s 928 series. With stability and comfort in mind, the 928 is equipped with various materials to prevent excessive inward rolling of the foot (overpronation), and the all-new ROLLBAR® technology, making a training session in these almost effortless. The 928 also boats the ABZORB® SBS in it’s heels, to maximise shock absorption.
This advanced foam retains it’s shape no matter how much you wear them, making them perfect for longer walks. The 928 is just as comfortable at the end of the day, as they were at the start.
The price point for the New Balance 928 is on the higher end. The shoes typically retail between $120 to $130, but you can sometimes pick them up from Amazon for a little cheaper.
We know that you want to get the most out of your fitness regime, and that everybody has different requirements for what they are looking for in a walking shoe, but if stability is important to you, as it should be, then you can’t go wrong with the New Balance 928.
