Walking Tips & Information

Walking is a great way to exercise and pretty much everyone can do it.

There are many types of walking though such as speed walking, fitness walking, city walking, casual walking, nature walking, hiking and trail walking.  I’m sure you can think of many  others.

Each have their own requirements as to what you should be preparing, what you should take with you, what you should wear and how to ensure you are safe.

For anyone who is older or unfit contemplating anything more strenuous that their normal routine, please have a quick check up with your doctor who can advise you specifically on the type and amount that is prudent.

Likewise if you have any medical condition affecting your back, legs, hips, knees, ankles or feet please see either a doctor or pediatrician who can advise on specifics for your situation.
